BNL sophomore Blaze Byrer
Bedford North Lawrence sophomore forward Blaze Byrer was named to the Hoosier Hills Conference First Team.
Byrer led the Stars (8-13) in scoring (11.1) and rebounding (4.9).
Jeffersonville, the league champion for the second consecutive season, dominated the First Team. Darryl Baker, Keenan Williams, Myles Harvey and Drew Ellis, the foursome who powered the Red Devils to a 4-A regional title, were all selected.
Joining them were Columbus East’s Bryce Lienhoop and Nate Rich, New Albany’s Jermaine Parrish, Madison’s Landon Perry and Jennings County’s Bailey Sanders.
BNL junior guard Morgan Cummings was named Honorable Mention.
Jeffersonville’s Chad Gilbert was the Coach of the Year.
