Now that we have finally entered the month of March let all of the madness begin. However, instead of looking at five team’s resumes this week, we will look at five bubble teams and what they need to do to make it into the NCAA tournament.
These five teams are clearly not the only teams on the bubble and some teams may play their way into the bubble talks, but these five have bubble written all over them.
With a week left in the regular season--some conferences are already kicking off conference tournament play this week--there is still plenty of time left for these five teams to either win some games or let it all come crashing down. However, there are always conference tournaments, where it does not matter if you have won a single game in your conference or are leading it because whoever wins their conference tournament will get to ride first class all the way to the big dance. Gotta’ love those auto bids.
Kentucky, Ole Miss, Villanova, Temple and Arizona State are all on the bubble right now, but what do all of these teams have to do to secure a spot in the tournament? Although some may have to do more than others, these five teams are on the cusp of putting on their slippers and playing some good old-fashioned ball on the hardwood floors.
