Game Preview: Memphis Grizzlies @ Orlando Magic | Magic ...

The Orlando Magic lost their second consecutive game Friday night, a 118-110 defeat at the hands of the Houston Rockets. The loss dropped their record c to 16-43. The Magic will be back in action when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies Sunday evening. The Grizzlies, coming off of a 98-91 loss to the Miami Heat Friday, enter with a record of 38-19, fourth best in the Western Conference.


These teams met just over a week ago. Despite playing just seven players due to trades an injuries, the Magic were competitive all night, before eventually falling 88-82. Maurice Harkless had 19 points and nine rebounds in the loss.


The Magic rank 26th in offensive rating (99.7), 26th in defensive rating (106.2) and play at the league’s 17th-fastest pace (93.96). The Grizzlies are 21st in offensive rating (100.5), second in defensive rating (97.3) and play at the league’s third-slowest pace (91.8).


Tip-off from the Amway Center is scheduled for 6:00 pm EST. The game will be shown locally on FS Florida.
