A standout at the University of Arizona from 2007-11, Ibekwe was a three-time All-Pac 10 First Team selection and twice named Pac 10 Defensive Player of the Year (2010, 2011). As a senior, the 6-2 forward averaged 16.1 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. She was selected by Seattle in the second round (24th overall) of the 2011 WNBA Draft and appeared in three games for the Storm. On Feb. 10, 2012, Ibekwe signed a free agent training camp contract with the San Antonio Silver Stars, but was waived prior to the beginning of the season.

A Kansas State University alum, Childs earned All-Big 12 First Team honors in 2012 after averaging a team-high 14.5 points per game as a senior, the sixth-highest scoring mark in the league that season. Childs finished her collegiate career with 1,237 career points, ranked 18th in school history.
