The Bethlehem girls basketball team finished its season 16-0 in league play and 20-1 overall. Sadly, their sole loss came last night to Albany High in the Section II Class AA championship game in front of a crowd of thousands at the Times Union Center in Albany.
Still, for a very young team with just two seniors, the 2012-13 season has to be as a success. Check out the statistics for all games on the Bethlehem team page. Congratulations to Coach Bixby, assistant coaches Trish Piccini, Dave Palmer, Greg Jette, Tim Blumkin and all the players: Gabby Giacone, Jenna Giacone, Olivia Hughes, Bridget Murphy, Erin O’Donnell, Jen O’Keefe, Maeve Mulderry, Kylie McKenna, Brenna Raffe, and Kaylee Rickert.
Best of luck to seniors Bridget and Jen. To the rest of the girls, thanks for a great season. We’ll see you next year.
