Saturday night, in front of packed stands at Comcast Center, the Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders Varsity Boys Basketball team won the Maryland 4A state basketball championship defeating the Magruder Colonels and revenging a painful loss in last years championship game.
Under the leadership of head Coach Brendan O’Connell, the Raiders are the state champions for the first time in over a decade.
