Despite the absurdities in today’s basketball, at every level, including the breakdown in team defense and terrible Coaching that leads to easy baskets, it always comes down to making the basket, most of the time from an outside shot or a free throw.
As I have sadly witnessed, over and over again, in today’s basketball, chances are that you will have to fight through some crooked Coach who will do everything within their power to keep you from showing the skill you have acquired. Sadly, that is today’s basketball in the USA. Despite that, your first obligation is to learn and acquire the skill, and then go fight your battles.
