On Saturday, Providence heads to Louis Brown Athletic Center to take on Rutgers. The game gets underway at 9 p.m. EST and you can catch it on ESPN U. The Friars are 5-1 against the Scarlet Knights over the last four years. The last time they met (Feb. 1, 2012) they won 78-67. Rutgers and Providence are packed together in the Big East, holding down 12th and 11th place, respectively. In their last outing, despite 15 points and 7 assists from Vincent Council, the Friars fell to Syracuse 84-59 on Feb. 20. On top of his scoring average of 9.9 points per game, he delivers 7.3 assists per game. For the Scarlet Knights, Myles Mack finished with 24 points and 8 rebounds in the 71-63 loss to Villanova on Feb. 18. He is averaging 13.6 points per game in addition to a team-best 1.7 steals per game.
