Region 9 Dogfight | Desert Hills Thunder Basketball

As we are coming to the end of our region 9 basketball schedule, it has turned out to be quite a battle for the top spot. At the halfway point through region, we found ourselves in 3rd place with a 4-2 record. We definitely were not satisified with our play and felt some disappointment with the standings. Because of this emotion, our team is motivated and has chosen to become more focused and unified in our team goals. We have dealt with adversity this season and I believe it has strengthened us to a point where our boys are showing more resolve to live, work, and play like champions. We are committed to each other to bring our best self each and every practice. To bring maximum effort in our preparation to be at our best these last 3 games. At 7-2, tied for 2nd place with Cedar, we have a real chance to be the top dog of region 9. I am very proud of the coaches and the TEAM for their commitment to the program. We feel confident we can reach our goal of a region championship but regardless how the season ends, our TEAM will be able to hold our heads high knowing we did our very best! Our students, faculty, administration, parents, fans, etc. are the best! We love and appreciate all the support we get. On behalf of the boy’s basketball program, we say a big Thank You!
